Cream of Lentil Soup     Cream of Lentil Soup

Ingredients (approximately for 4 servings)

– 3 cups chicken broth
– 1 cup of lentils. I used a mix of lentils+barley+pea. Please be aware that barley contains wheat.
– 1 whole clove
– 8oz of heavy whipping cream
– freshly squeezed lemon or lime
– garlic, carrots, celery, spinach, parsley

Directions:

Cook lentils in broth (+ add 1 whole clove). First bring to boil, then reduce heat, cook about 30min or until ready.

Saute celery+carrot. Add pepper

+ add garlic

Cream of Lentil Soup

When lentils is cooked – find and remove a whole clove!

Then add whipping cream, veggies, spinach. Squeeze lime.

Cream of Lentil Soup  Cook over low heat until heated through
